This is part of a hand painted mural I completed as part of the Jamestown Mural festival. It’s 3.6 x 1.8, took four days and was awarded second prize.
This mural panel was painted for the 100th anniversary of the 1915 Coo-ee Recruitment March and the design was taken from old black and white photos of the actual event. Hand-painted murals have a lively quality that digital prints seem to lack. I worked on this mural panel with my colleagues Peter and Sharon.
